Y’s Women is a signature YWCA event that is usually held at our Warren location. The event is in a hybrid format on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 6:00 pm.
It focuses on the power of women’s networks to impact philanthropy and make major impacts on their community. The event uses a table captains model–one woman invites 7 of her friends. Y’s Women features testimonials, area speakers and an auction.
The theme of this year’s event follows the national YWCA Week Without Violence theme — Beyond Resilience: From Surviving to Thriving. We recognize women who have persevered through challenging times, lifting up the voices of those who have experienced gender-based violence. Sharon A. Stringer, Ph.D., whose research focuses on stigma and resilience, is our keynote speaker.
To become a Table Captain or to RSVP call 330-746-6361 x109 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
