YWCA Mahoning Valley is committed to mission-driven programs that fulfill our goals of empowering women and eliminating racism. We offer programming in the areas of housing, youth development, economic empowerment, and advocacy serving women and families in the Valley.
We envision a world of opportunity, and we are committed to justice. Our power comes from the women, girls and families we serve. We are doing the work to meet the dynamic, changing needs of our community.
This requires understanding the problems our clients face, and directing them to a program that fits their situation. YWCA is evolving our services in order to continue providing relevant and quality care and resources that we have available.
Housing with Supportive Services ↘
YWCA offers a variety of housing options for no-, low-, and moderate-income women and families at locations in Trumbull and Mahoning County. Transitional Housing
Supports low– or no-income homeless individuals for up to 8 months.

Scattered Site
Permanent rental houses for low-income homeless families with minor children and disabled parent.

Rayen Apartments
Provides subsidized housing for disabled and low– to moderate-income individuals.

WINGS Apartments
Located in Warren, for women with disabilities and their children who are at-risk of homelessness.
Youth Development ↘
YWCA Mahoning Valley offers programming for children beginning at age 6 weeks with our infant childcare, through 8th grade with our Y-Girls STEAM Ahead summer camps. We strive to provide exceptional curricula and care for children and youth.
