YWCA Offers Free Estate Planning with FreeWill

People can make a Will for free using the online tool.

YWCA Mahoning Valley has partnered with FreeWill, an online tool that allows users to create a Will at no cost. The initiative launched in August for National Make-a-Will month, but will continue throughout the year.

YWCA President & CEO Leah Merritt said the partnership aligns with the organization’s mission.

“Part of YWCA’s mission is economic empowerment,” Merritt said. “Estate planning can be expensive and overwhelming. We want people, no matter their level of income, to be able to access this resource.”

FreeWill also gives users the option to include YWCA in their Will. People can donate gifts of stock, cryptocurrency, donor advised funds and gifts from their IRA.
